BUt yes I agree with you that VR games need abit slower pace.
Games like COD or even HL2 are way overpaced in movement speed. it´s not realistic.
Now of course HLA might be a bit too slow, so make it slightly faster and we should be fine.
A think the pace and walking speed is perfect in Alyx, and and give a good sense of immersion.
Cool, this game is also horror, so I guess it works.
Why does it need to be fast paced? You are playing it wrong! That is it ;)
It just goes to show that the OP has not actually looked at the game let alone played it. All the Half-Life games are horror FPS games so he justified Alyx as a VR game by stating VR is best for horror! 🤣
And BTW, horror is not the best genre for VR. Space shooters like Elite Dangerous are the best 😛
I don't think you understand how immersive VR is...
