that being said, I totally could be wrong.
i cant seem to change it either but now it means in dark areas im forced to hold the hand gun with both hands to have light point in the direction my gun is pointing, but if i was able to place it on my right hand i would achieve the same result one handed.
i hold rifle with two hands, but the pistol i dont, and i wouldnt mind so much if being forced to hold the handgun with both hands actually 100% all the time resulted in the light shining in the correct direction. but it dont... instead im holding the pistol with two hands but my left hand is kinda tilted wrong anyway whilst doing that to get the light where i want it..
I suppose we should be thankful it's attached to our glove... *Cough*DOOM3*COUGH*
Why on earth, after the debacle of "Duct Tape Flashlight" Doom 3, would the developers decide that in a game where SEARCHING FOR AMMO AND RESIN IS A HUGE PART OF THE GAME didn't need a flashlight toggle. Give me limited energy or something maybe, but while ammo and resin both glow they are VERY often hidden under random detritus, and lockers are FULL of random detritus.
Having a flashlight that just decides it will come on when it wants is like having a straw with a ball valve in it that won't give you liquid when it feels like you're probably not really all that thirsty.
