Do electric headcrabs take damage in a zombie?

So you kill its reanimated corpse and it jumps out but has it taken any damage from this?

Also does the zombie take any damage from body shots or will shooting the blue bubbles only harm it?

Shooting a zombie does not harm the headcrab, meaning it is better off just shooting the headcrab as if it dies, so does the zombie.

Also, what's an electric headcrab?

to answer your question no i dont think it takes damages inside the host since the blobs you have to shoot to get it out again is the only thing that damages it would suprise me if the headcrab itself would take damage at all when its inside but havent tested it yet so not sure.

The part with 2 electric headcrabs and tons of zombies, I just kept chasing down the headcrabs while evading zombies keeping them alive so that they couldn't takeover any zombie bodies. Made the fight a lot more doable if not more stressful. The electrified zombies are just too much of a waste of ammo to risk having the headcrabs jump back into another body after you get it to exit. Much more controllable to keep the zombies alive shuffling around and hunt down those little electrical jerks.

Just shoot the electric things that form on their arms and whatnot and dodge the lightning attacks. Shoot like hell while they're crawling out of the zombies. That's what I did when there were two of them with a bunch of zombies and I probably had it done in 5 minutes without taking damage.
