Pistol grip angle with Oculus Rift Touch Controllers WAAAY off
in order to hold the pistol flat to aim, you have to hold the touch controller handle at a 45 degree instead of 18 degrees to match the actual pistol grip angle making you bend your wrist down...terribly uncomfortable. If you hold the controller with your wrist straight as you would IRL, the gun barrel is pointed towards the sky. Has anyone found a console command yet to fix this??? It's driving me nuts!

I'm playing with Rift and I haven't had this issue. Are you sure it isn't a tracking issue with your controllers? I'm not sure if it'll help with your issue, but have you tried using your other hand to brace the gun? Maybe that could assist with the problem by snapping the gun into the correct position or something?

is where you hold your controller matching the same angle of the pistol, or is it pointed forward? It feels the same as it does with arizona sunshine being off...in pavlov the angle is correct.

First time I booted the aim was spot on, second time I played it was a tad off and quite annoying. Quit the game and rebooted was still a little off but not as bad. 45 degrees seems quite severe try a full system reboot.

Like I said, pavlov grip angle is correct...but this is pitched upward, so if you hold your controller handle at the angle that would match the gun handle angle, the barrel of the gun is pointing up about 20 degrees too high. I've rebooted, no changes. In the game Contractors VR it defaults to the same angle this is, but it has in-game options to adjust the grip angle so you can match what you're doing IRL, have to imagine there's a console command to change this

Has anybody ever found a solution for this? I'm having a difficult time finishing the game because the aim feels so broken and uncomfortable

I know what Prime is talking about. The gun model in the game is based on a 1911, and the grip angle on that firearm is a very natural "pointing" angle. So it should be like if you simply pointed your index finger it should roughly be where the gun is pointing. In the game however, if you hold out your hand in this natural pointing fashion, you'll be shooting way too high. I wish they let you adjust the angle at which is holds the firearm in the game. It feels very unnatural for me.

Many VR shooters have all different pistol angles and it especially gets annoying when there's no option to adjust. I think this is the result of VR gaming not being mainstream yet, just like FPS controls were all over the place until half life mainstreamed WASD / E / R.

I wonder how hard it would be for the developers to have a setting to adjust it.
