"Low available GPU" - RTX 2070
I get this at startup, and the game sets fidelity at low. The card is above recommended specs, so feels like something is off. Anyone else run into this issue?

Using Quest via link.

Thanks

I didn't notice the message, when did it pop up?
I set the game to max and didn't feel any stutters yet.

Maybe becaus the quets needs extra performance to achieve a good quality over link.

It is okay, you can try it out with max settings and ignore it.

Do you have the latest driver?

Got same message on RTX 2080. Set to Ultra manually and not noticed any significant performanca issues. Runs at 90 fps 99% of time.

RTX 2070, I5 6600k OC'ed & 32gb RAM no message

Yep got a pop up at start even though have a 1080. Says my GPU is under min spec (even though min spec is 1060 etc)

Going to just try over-riding settings manually.

EDIT:

Well that went badly. Set it to High default. Started new game. It froze on the 'Loading...' graphic (like whole headset locked to it, even if you move your head around). Seemed to be a soft crash. Now the game does the same on loading where before it worked.

Not sure if related though, maybe it would have done that anyway on loading a game.

Full specs:
1080 / i7 4790K / 16GB / SSD / Rift CV1

Nvidia driver: latest one (445.75)

EDIT2: A fresh reinstall fixed. It gives me a warning at start but runs great on High default so far.

Ya, got the same message with an RTX2080Ti. Set it to Ultra, and have had no performance problems at all. Just kindof annoying that the message comes up...

Which CPU and motherboard do you use?
My girlfriend had a CPU that prevented using all the VRAM offered by the GPU, she must have changed recently.

I'm also using a 2070 with Oculus Link and getting this message. The game runs fine most of the time, but areas that are large or have lots of enemies act unstable, regardless of what I change the game's graphics settings to.

RTX 2080, same message runs well on high, ultra also seemed fine but kept it on high. Only funky bits I get is when it hits a load screen it sometimes stops rendering to one eye and flickers a little.

CPU: i7 3770K
Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V
16GB RAM

Pretty sure the CPU isn't the issue - it's running around 40-50% in-game according to Afterburner.

The GPU isn't being maxed out either. However the game uses a stack load of RAM, so wondering if this could have something to do with that? (Could page file size be a factor I wonder?)

The game runs, but as reported above, is unstable and crashes frequently.

I've also tried running the 2070 without OC, but it's still unstable.

Keen to hear if anyone is experiencing the same and has found a solution. Thanks guys

I can't find information about your processor on the site "UserBenchmark" but my girlfriend had an i7 4790k and this processor did not support more than 2GB VRAM (graphic card), its graphics card can go up at 6GB VRAM.

She had to change processors and since in VR she has performed better. The concern is that changing the processor is also having to change the motherboard and there is a good chance that the ram is to be changed.

In my opinion, I sincerely think that it is your processeur who restrain your graphic card and gives this error message on the game.
