Maybe, I certainly hope they don't equate difficulty with how many bullets opponents can take..
Do you play on easier/harder than the default setting and have a different bullet count required to kill?
And the headcrabs not dying despite shooting the zombies in the head just feels like sacrilege in a half-life game.
That being said, I have been scouring every corner for Resin so I generally have a tone of pistol ammunition, shotgun shells seem a little more scarce.
Same. The shotgun is the panic weapon at this time because unless I'm in real trouble, I'm using the pistol. Heck, the amount of health shots I've found is out weighing ammo. I'd be okay with this to some degree if I could say do some kind of melee (in the subway, I held onto the pipe and tried to hit a zombie with it to no avail).
God help you if you don't have any ammo and you are at a lock.
I plan to restart and take a look, since I missed some early game Easter eggs.
But I do agree, those that don't have weakpoints are a bit spongey.
Shooting the headcrab mouth, when they are about to lunge on you seems to be an easy kill.
Besides, I skipped most of headcrabs encounter in early chapters because it just waste of bullets to kill them, even when they are in grouped. You can easily avoid and go past them.
this is one of my few gripes with this game. i dont want to have to question whether or not i actually took out a headcrab with a headshot - its like sometimes it does n sometimes it doesnt based on pre-scripted events. kinda bothersome but otherwise a great game imo
The columbine soldiers go down when you shoot them in the face a few times. You may have to peek around corners and time your shots.
I'm playing on the default Normal setting.
In normal PC games I am not really a fan of such "♥♥♥♥♥modes", but I didn't really feel the difference in VR other than not having to worry about ammo
