For people new to VR this may feel okay but I am disappointed just compare it to Boneworks and it feels like it is a couple of years behind
• Left thumbstick click = sprint
• Right thumbstick click = crouch
• Right thumbstick hold = low crouch
• Down on right stick = jump, pulling lower = higher jump
That would be great without making too many changes. It just feels too glued to the floor like a walking simulator when you can't manually jump and gain air on command.
Jumping is complete BS anyway, Boneworks handles it the rough way, but seriously? It´s not immersive at all, and no I´m not getting motion sickness from it. Trying to Jump and climb something in Boneworks is a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and I very much doubt you would get anywhere faster with that.
For example playing a shooter in flat like COD where you can vault stuff very smoothly in a split second.
In Boneworks, you need to press jump botton, retract your VRlegs so they dont hit anything and then grab downwards in a weird motion, since you are just standing still in reallife, this whole precedure feels completely stupid.
Smooth turning please, no smooth turn actually makes me hate the movement system, feels like a 5 year old game because of it
I hear you. It'd be so trivial to add, literally 2 minutes of programming, maybe 5 minutes to add a slider to the menu. So hopefully they can do it quickly.
Furthermore Smooth turning seems t be a bug. So we can expect a fast fix for it.
Press the button above your touchpad when holding it in your hand. Then stick it in you arm, leg or head.
