probably more correct to say shoulder opposite your gun-hand, but yea, that's the one I used also
edit: This may possibly be a bug during that tutorial. Once I broke the gate lock I was suddenly able to get the backpack working effortlessly.
Which I am assuming is a bug? Especially since every other shooting VR game I have ever played lets you re-store spent clips.
There are already items in the game for partial clips so it doesn't make any sense from an engineering standpoint that you couldn't just add the remaining ammo count back to the pool, and when you pull the last clip with less then a full clips worth of ammo in the pool, spawn it with less ammo.
