Fingers crossed.
1. I installed the "SteamVR" app available through the Steam store for free.
2. In the Oculus desktop app, I went to Library and clicked the + button to manually add a game. Oculus didn't auto detect the game so I had to browse my C drive and find it, but it wasn't too difficult.
After this, it worked first time by selecting it through my Oculus home in the headset.
When I try again later, and it still gives me problems, I'll give it a try by what you said.
Cheers.
Really pleased you got it working!
I created the link in Oculus home and it started to load up, and then it's gone. Everytime.
I reinstalled the game and in Steamvr it still says it can't find the path.
I've been in contact with support, but I've yet to hear anything.
It's great so many people are loving the game, just so much frustration here.
Again, my other VR games work fine.
I did it the hard way, went into the Steam folder, deleted everything except for the steamapps folder and steam.exe, started steam.exe (which resulted in Steam reinstalling itself) and then installed SteamVR from the store.
SteamVR is required. The game won't run without it. There is no native support for Oculus headsets.
