Here's the reddit thread, where I found this, if anyone is interested
Valve: "Owners of any part of the Valve Index kit, including just the controllers, will get Half-Life: Alyx free. Those who own any Index hardware before the end of 2019 will get a few bonuses, including 'alternate gun skins to embellish Alyx's arsenal.'"
was going to add the game to my wishlist but notised that it was allreaddy in my library.
Quoting Support email:
Half-Life:Alyx will be added to the account that the Valve Index purchase was made from. You can share it to your main account using Family Library Sharing.
Just beware that support will not guarantee the game is going to support library sharing and you won't get the exclusive content this way.
Everyone should keep politely contacting support until they offer an actual fix for this. Or at least get them to stop saying "owners" when they mean "purchasers".
