Nope. Both Eli and Alyx have different voice actors.
No it's not. The new actress is Ozioma Akagha. Her previous work is Wolfenstein II and Mirrors Edge.

Sadly, Robert Guillaume passed away a couple years ago. He was the voice of Eli. Not sure why they didn't get Merle Dandridge back though.

Same actor for G-Man confirmed though, thankfully. Wil miss Merle Dandridge in this.

As I know they hired the Gordon Freeman voice actor too.

All I care about is gman, since eli's voice actor passed away. And since the voice of gman is also barney, I'm OK with that

Appearently the original voice of Alyx, hasn't being in contact with Valve for 12 years.

I just heard Merle Dandridge interviewed by Tyler on VNN -- she sounds the same. For me, Valve is making the same mistake Rockstar almost made when they decided to change Max Payne's voice actor. Myself and apparently many others wrote to Rockstar encouraging them to maintain continuity by bringing back James McCaffery. I really encourage folks to make the same appeal to Valve now. Merle's passion for the character is readily apparent, she'd clearly recorded voice work already for this game, so the decision to replace her is a mystery.

I did listen and interview with Merle Dandridge on the same Youtube channel.

Indeed the original voice actress for Alyx Vance (Merle Dandridge) had been contacted by Valve about Half-Life: Alyx years ago and apparently did the voice over for Half-Life: Alyx and her voice is in fact included in the trailer, along with the voice of the other actress.

And apparently people who played the game say that Merle Dandridge's voice was in the game, but Valve changed their mind last minute and decided to higher another actress.
Speculations are that this was, because they wanted someone that sounded younger. But some people think there is another undisclosed reason.

I think the original actress' voice sounds young enough.
Also why include her voice in the trailer if they want a younger sounding voice?

We can only speculate because of valves tight puckered lips, and that is kind of telling enough. atleast to say that they arent beeing forthright about the real reason.
Merle was clearly doing the voice work up til a point, it is more than obvious to anyone who has played HL2 and cared. and the new one sounds nothing like Alyx, and i for one will hate hearing the new one (whoever it may be if not Merle) when i eventually play the game. i Hope valve lets us fans choose which voice we want to hear in an audio settings drop down menu or similar, or atleast mute alyx ingame. because i am cringing just by the thought of hearing anyone but the original alyx voice when i play. the thought literally disgusts me, and that will definately ruin my mood every time.

Maybe Merle asked for more money. maybe they wanted a younger voice. maybe valve is just beeing ignorant/arrogant to old fans. maybe maybe maybe...
Maybe valve should just un-pucker and tell us what is going on, instead of making us wonder wtf is going on in the first place. they've made it clear they dont have control of the situation by allowing the two voices ingame and trailer in the first place. did they want! the controversey in the first place ?

How about it valve! ...
