Achievements? Global rankings?

Yeah, this is an insta-buy for me if it has achievements. If not, I'll just wait till I get a Switch and get it there.

I’m almost positive it will have achievements since the PS4 version has trophies. It wouldn’t make sense if one version has achievements. And there are online leaderboards but like VRock said they will probably be hacked lol

It has global rankings and regional rankings for online, however I think many people forsee tetris bots stealing the leaderboard, nobody is sure how sega handles cheaters as it hasnt really been seen on the console yet, there is no report function.

I would be very surprised if it did not have achievements because it's trophy/achievement list has been in wide circulation ever since it was released on PS3/Vita/PS4/XBOX ONE etc. Cannot imagine how they could have left it out here. I'm sure they will patch it in if they have left it out.

What do we think of Tetris Ultimate? It's currently on sale. Would I be better off saving my money for the Puyo Puyo Tetris? In a strange way, I'm curious to see how bad Tetris Ultimate actually is.

Puyo Puyo Tetris is amazing. I'd def wait for it to release. I had never played a Puyo Puyo game before and now I actually love it. The mode in Puyo Puyo Tetris where it swaps between the two games every 25 seconds would be worth the $20 bucks on its own.

Tetris Ultimate is a poor version of Tetris. I've been told the game crashes frequently, no local muliplayer support, controls are not customizable (see the red river that is the review section).

I've played Puyo Tetris on Switch at my brother's house and I had fun with it.
