Hello there. In this post, I'll introduce the game, myself, and my plans for the near future!

This is an FPP sci-fi thriller. It contains traces of collectathons, walking sims, and Frictional Games titles... but it’s also something a bit unique. I wanted to list a few games here that are most similar to OSAD, but to be honest, I’m having trouble choosing - nothing quite fits.

tl;dr a short adventure with a strong atmosphere, interesting exploration, and a surprising setting.

• horror game with jump scares, chase sequences, and so on

• gameplay-heavy survival horror

• long, complex game that lasts several hours

• slow-paced thriller

• story-heavy experience

• game based on exploring the world's lore and enjoying environmental storytelling

• tiny ride through hell, that you'll finish in one sitting

• where you're supposed to pick up trash like a model citizen or else

I’m a full-time game designer who’s finally decided to release my solo project on Steam. In my day job, I help create games that are completely different from OSAD, so this little game is a sort of creative outlet for me.

My favorite games are BioShock, Silent Hill 2, Disco Elysium, and Metal Gear Solid 4, if that tells you anything about me!

Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing more information about the game, including gameplay footage, development updates, and (very limited) story teasers. Be sure to follow me on social media to stay up to date! https://beacons.ai/jstremler.dev
