Gunstars?
I love the game as I have it with a few of the DLCs, I enjoy the semi large ship selection, but have noticed that there is a class of ship completely missing. Gunstars are a vital part of colonial defense. Is it possible that we will see them come into the game later on? Also the Cygnus and Titanstars?

Gunstars or Titanstars are the result of fan fiction and fan design and neither is based on canon lore from the show or any of the movies.

One of the developers dislikes the practice of just adding star behind everything (Gunstar, Carrierstar, etcetera) and so the game rolls with the more conventional ship classes like corvette, frigate, cruiser, gunship and carrier.

that also means the -star moniker is reserved for appropriate ships that deserve Awesome McCoolname.

Battlestars in the canon are battleship carrier hybrids universally. As for why each and every type of battlestar hasn't been added to the game, you can chalk up to balance. Each ship on both sides has its own clearly defined distinctions and roles from the others. Flooding the roster with a bunch of ships that have only one thing different from the next wouldn't improve the quality overall, it would just make it feel more cluttered.

Agree ! , there are so mutch to do with all the ship we have ,

@ *-=Phoenix=-* if you have already ended "anabasis" dozens og time at the higher difficulty level , i can understand we may want more ships.

Yeah, the number of ships is . . . I just wish there was a capital number set at seven, and a frigate/corvette number in a fleet set at say 7-9 or something like that. I would like larger combat. With more ships, or maybe the same stats just different skins.

i think it's a balance between the fight lengh and the fleet size ( ie : more ships to manage , longer is the fight ) i may not have the best way to handle a game turn ,and with 7 ships i have a lot to do. ( some times i manage separatly each fighters squadron ; and a battle may last more than 1 hour in PVE ); in PVP it should be interesting a big battle with 12 ships or more each side ==> are you ready for à 4 hours battle ?

That's a bit of an exaggeration. More ships doesn't necessarily mean the battle would take longer, because each ship has guns. Therefore more ships means more damage being done overall. Sometimes anyway.
