Question, did you modify the skirmish mode to allow any kind of scenario with anytype and number of ships vs same? I know your skirmish modes on your other games have been weak, i.e., Sanctus Reach, where you promised to improve it and never did.
Does the game NEED to grow any faster?
The way I see it you pay 40 whatever for your game (and with the constant Steam sales chances are you're not even paying half that), you get your 40 hours of entertainment out of it and then you move on to something else. Nothing wrong with that, not every game needs to gobble up hundreds or thousands of hours of your life.
Just imagine the system of this game, and apply it to star wars, or star trek, or warhammer, or any other given sci-fi medium. Too bad we won't get to see that...
