There has been plenty of media and most games these days when purchased digitally do not give a manual and manuals hardly let someone know how things play.

Maybe because he's LITERATE and prefers written instruction over the hand holding visual instruction used most commonly on young children that the current generation of gamers seem to prefer.

Manuals are infinitely better than in-game tutorials, sadly millennials don't understand this and never will.
If you took manuals seriously they would include a complete set of keyboard commands. Is there a pdf of that somewhere I can download?
Though I can kind of see the logic behind there being one for this game. Granted, its not nearly as complex or user unfriendly as a Homeworld game.

So then when I have ships with orange and red on the flanks and green yellow and red on the fore and aft, that means my best guns are the broadsides. Got it.
