walls not protecting solar panels inside (europa)

so goofing around in creative i tryed walling my solar panels off with window walls to protect from blizzards. not working despite fully seal area, all walls floor and ceiling fully built the solar panels are still takign damage as if in the open

Be sure that your room atmosphere is distinctly different than the world atmosphere. There's a known issue that if you just enclose the room then it's not enough for the storm effects to realize there's a room there.

A trick I've seen several do (and I do as well) is to simply create a vacuum in the room and this does the trick for getting the storm scans to recognize the room separation from the world environment.

My buildings have survived many storms, but one day a storm got inside the building. After carefully examining all the walls, I found a small piece of surface floating inside the room. Previously, this piece did not exist. It's a bug or some kind of spontaneous landscape change. But storm left the room as soon as he removed this piece of surface with a hand drill.
