Overhead Locker Snapping in middle of wall

Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how to get the overhead locker to snap inside my base. Right now it will only snap to the wall but half of the locker sticks through to the other side. I've tried this on solid walls, windows, and air tight frames. Rotating using "C" or delete, page down etc does not change this. The placement I need just gives a red silhouette and says must snap to the grid. I went outside to see if placing it on the walls and windows would make a difference and it doesn't. Any suggestions? Thanks

I can get the Overhead Corner Locker to snap in the proper place but the regular overhead locker will not

I can confirm. The placement is bugged, and always has been. It's like they never tested it before adding it into the stable. There is nothing you can do.

You can try using Short Locker. It looks exactly the same as the Overhead Locker, but has a different snapping.

Its untrue that it never worked as it did, there is a mismatching anchor point however. There was a feature earlier to disable or change the grid snapping. Comming back agfer years (agaain) I cannot get the snappinh method change to work, anybody know the propper key? Did they removed that feature?


@Puma, Your not right, the placement for that locker was working before, o use that thing in almost every base Ove build over the years.

@Nargon Short Locker looks quite different in the bottom section and cannot act as a propper replacement.

Not only did they removed that feature, but they also removinated everybody else's memories of it ever existing. They also purginated all memories of the overhead locker ever working, except yours of course. But since you posted publicly here, now they know that ur memories are unchanged, and they will surely be coming for you.
