Cosmetic packs

I find myself a bit miffed at the new Human Cosmetic pack just released. The human race is already the core race of this title and I'm feeling this should have been a game feature update and not a reason to raise more funds.

To me, the sets the tone that every time an artist makes any type of graphic appearance improvement we can expect to be asked to shell out more coin to see any benefit; meaning the core game features can expect to be bland graphics to entice these cosmetic upgrades.

New races that change the game play seem a good reason to invest into these skins, but I am taking some offense here for core feature improvements that should just be an expected improvement to the base package.

I agree with your opinion to some extent, but there seems to be nothing to say about the introduction of accessories to improve their profit structure.
And surprisingly, there are many people who want to have their own character. This is especially the case with online games.
I just hope that such accessories don't adversely affect game performance.

Many people on the discord expressed wanting to support the project.

Previously, discussions with the community both here and on discord requested we focus additional purchases purely on cosmetics - leaving game features and content to be included for everyone.

We have released three new worlds (and another on the way) for free.

You can also easily edit the game files if you would like to access the content. I will be adding a setting in the settings file for people to change if they would like the content, but don't want to pay for it.

I'm going to pass on a pure cosmetic pack. If it added some extra stuff for humans that was functional I might of got it, like with the other 2 packs.

Good for you. As I play as a human female the facial cosmetics are somewhat useless to me.

I am always surprised at how people can take offense to almost anything.

The purchase is purely one of choice and not doing so in no way detracts from the game as is.


By the way Skittles will apparently kill you now...

I have supported the Devs by buying the game and 2 of the 3 packs. A pure Cosmetic pack just has no interest for me at the moment, I might buy the third pack in the future but it's unlikely.

The last DLC resulted in a months long defence of thereasons. I have to admit I do not feel the slightest bit bothered by it and find the outrage baffling. However, I will be taking a beack seat in the forthcoming battles, I can only 'White Knight' as it is called, so many times.
