bag with liquid/gas valve
a valve that allows gas to be pumped out of a liquid pipe only works if there is a liquid phase in the liquid pipe; if all the liquid in the liquid pipe is in the gas phase, the valve stops pumping out gas

I think I understood the cause of the bug, the air valve pumps out not gas from the liquid pipe, but liquid, which subsequently evaporates in the gas pipe...., it seems that when they added the gas and liquid valves, they forgot to change the polarity of the gas valve... as a result, the liquid valve works correct, but the gas valve is incorrect

Purge Valves don't really pump the gas out, they only allow it to leak out like a one way valve, if the pressure of the output is higher then the input it stops.
I've emptied plenty of tanks by adding a volume pump behind the Purge Valve so that it could go down to 0kpa.

I understand that the purge valve is not capable of creating pressure, I have a pressure of 4 MPa in the liquid pipe, 1.5 MPa in the gas pipe, but while there is not a drop of liquid phase in the liquid pipe, the valve does not work, as soon as liquid appears, it redirects it to the gas pipe , although in theory it was supposed to pump gas out of the liquid pipe until the pressure in them equals or the gas in the liquid pipe runs out

Are you guys on the beta branch, or with some mods active? I'm seeing completely different behavior on the regular version.

There are two valves that go from liquid to gas:
Expansion valve - moves only liquid, very quickly
Purge Valve - moves only gas, quickly if going into lower pressure, but it can slowly pump against higher pressure, like a Pressure Regulator or a Filtration Unit

Most likely you set the pressure target on the Purge Valve to 4MPa, so it only pumps when the pressure gets higher. Such as when adding liquid to the pipe.

It seems you didn’t understand me, I’m talking about a mechanical liquid-gas valve, not an electric one, now I installed an electric one instead of a mechanical valve and everything began to work as it should, but the bug is with the mechanical valve

It's ironic, they introduce phase change, and remove the "older tutorials" even though they provide a solid basis for gameplay to newer players. One thing that's never going to change is that things keep evolving; one thing that's always going to change is how useful information is to the masses...No Matter what you have as settings for phase change, as long as you keep pipes in the correct lines for their phase all of this "phase change" stuff is optional, and not really needed; although scientifically there would be usages, surviving in the base game isn't one of them, and by that point you should be operating less on others information and more on trial and error; granted I have a chemist for a Father, so I can apprieciate the care of the phase change system, but ultimately they removed the tutorials and just blamed it on the phase change...these devs /really/ need to hire a PR Rep, to handle their very diverse and unique community; it's not the CEO's Job to keep the peace between different ideas.

a big request to the developers: add a module that allows you to pump the gas phase from a liquid pipe to a gas pipe, thereby separating the gas from the liquid

Isn't that exactly what the Purge Valve does? That's even why it cools down the liquid so much, because it takes the gas, so more liquid has to evaporate.

Alright, I laughed.

Optional..? Even on Mars it's not... Have you really played this game ?

Sure. Except of course for heating pump, water production, water cleaning, gas extraction/filtration... No usage at all.

It was broken every 2 weeks way before this and they never blamed it on the phase change. I have no idea what you are talking about. These tutorial were absolutely useless. You never make tutorial before the game is mostly finished, it's a big lose of time.

The only thing they need to add is basic control at the launch of the game.

Who do you think you are ..? They make this game for them first. You don't like it, don't play it.

In french, we call people like you "Child-King".

I also thought that it does this, but when I tried to put it into practice, it turned out that it pumps out not gas from the liquid pipe, but liquid from the liquid pipe. By creating this topic, I hoped to draw the attention of the developers to this bug, but later they told me that it works since it is necessary that he must pump out the liquid from the liquid pipe. For my tasks, a valve is needed to pump gas out of a liquid pipe, but as practice has shown, it is not in the game, so I ask the developers to add it

That is not a bug though, it's part of phase change.
When you remove gas it lowers the pressure in the pipe and if the pressure gets low enough the liquid inside might start boiling (phase change) and thus remove liquid by turning it to new gas.

It depends on the temperature of course. But even in real life can you boil water at room temperature if the pressure is low enough.

Hm. I just made 4 insulated liquid pipes, 4 insulated gas pipes, in between a Purge Valve. Used addgas to put Oxygen at 20°C into the liquid pipes. Checked: Just gas, as intended. Turned on the PV. Gas started moving. ... After a while, nothing in the liquid pipes, O2 in the gas pipes.

Started over. Put O2 in LP, then Water. Checked: As intended - and stable, no offgassing of the water. Turned on the PV.

Only O2 was moving over. The ratio water increased, of course. Everything stayed at 20°C.

When the O2 was almost gone, water started to evaporate, of course, since there must be a min gas pressure. Temperature started dropping. Water vapor was moving into the gas pipe. Gas pipe was heating up, since the water vapor had no more reason to be in gaseous form, so it condensed.

Eventually, the liquid pipes were at -5°C and then empty ... because one pipe had burst due to freezing. The gas pipes were at almost 60°C.

Seems 100% correct.

I was doing my experiments on a volcano, at night when the temperature dropped to a minimum of 127 degrees, I pumped gas from the atmosphere into an insulated tank, after exceeding the pressure of 5.5 MPa, the poison began to liquefy, I took it into an insulated liquid tank, the temperature in the gas tank was - began to rise due to liquefaction, and to fall in the liquid tank due to evaporation, when all the poison had evaporated in the liquid tank, the temperature in it dropped to 64 degrees, after which I tried to pump out the released gas using an evaporation valve, but the gas did not flow, but if into the liquid pipes, I again began to supply liquid, then it flowed through the evaporation valve into the gas pipe, where it evaporated, cooling to -18 degrees
