Hello, this game keeps crashing after I rebooted the PC, now there are no save files that exist, just on the computer they are not in the game, how to fix it?

well, when I start the game there are no saves, here in this video he's just backuping, if I do the same no effect they not appearing. I can't choose saves. "xmlexception : root element is missing" on the bottom left corner

I've heard about multiple potential causes for Stationeers problems: Microsoft OneDrive changing standard folders or access rights. Discord (Not the browser version, the local one. I have the local one - no problems ever. But I've hear of them.).

And mods of course: Even if you disable mods in Stationeers and if you verify the installation with Steam, you could *still* have some remaining mod stuff.

YOU CAN TRY THIS:

Delete the entire installation folder of the game, RENAME your Stationeers data folder "C:\Users\...\Documents\My Games\Stationeers\" so that the game can't find it. AND THEN redownload the game.

If this does not get you a running Stationeers game, then a third party application must be the problem. IF this gets you a working Stationeers game, you can move back your saves from the renamed folder to the new one and see when the problems start. If you can get ALL saves over there, then the problem must originally have been with the installation folder, I guess.

nope didn't work just one saved game that I started again. I just subscribed to some ic10 codes no modes I used.
