Any way to speed up ice crusher.
I am not sure why the ice crusher was nerfed to the point of uselessness.

1. Am I doing something wrong since an update? Temps are all good.
2. Any way to adjust how long it takes to crush ice? I see folks are using furnaces and stuff. Seems like a lot of work. On Mars, the ice literally evaporates faster than the crusher.

The ice crusher has a heater in it now and by default will heat up to around 20 Celsius before it can process more. It's convenient for melting water ice for drinking water but can take a lot of time. You can change the target temperature by writing to the "Setting" variable with a logic writer. A setting of 273 (melting point of the ices in Kelvin) will disable the heater and it'll work the same as before.

Take also in account the pressure. The pump of the ice crusher is now based on pressure difference.
My current Europa playthrough doesn't use an ice crusher at all. For volatiles, I made a (crappy) melting chamber with Active Vent, and for drinking water, I just toss down the ice in the room where I work, and a Passive Liquid Inlet pipes it directly from the air into the bottles.

I use two ice crushers side by side... :-)

Exactly with a hopper and some chutes to connect them and i just leave the ice ores there to melted on their own
