I built my first rocket!!!
I made a small rocket, sent it to the moon, ran out of fuel halfway up, it fell back down and exploded! I feel like Elon Musk right now because that was an exciting moment for me! this is amazing!

did not need to use the IC housing, not automating any of it at this time. the UI for rockets does 90% of the work already

I have enough fuel storage to get me to the first rocks and land back

The new rockets look so cool with the custom plumbing and stuff. I'm glad to hear that they can explode, wouldn't be Stationeers without new ways to blow yourself up. Was it difficult to get set up? From what I've seen so far setting up a basic gas-fuel rocket isn't too complex.

I did the most basic rocket, gas with gas engine, so I do burn a ton of fuel as it just dumps it with pressure. once it gets to its destination it will auto shut off (navigation unit) helps.

My first launch I only had a quarter of a tank full and it did go to space but did not reach AP, so it fell right back down. using the moons gravity it fell hard and exploded LOL

the setup I did was basic but I want to make a more advance rocket later on. everything is easy to set up and its all plug and play with color coding LOL

So you need more fuel. Or use fuel more efficiently.

I launched with out filling up lol left with a quarter of a tank and no gas stations on the way up :D

How do you connect an uplink/downlink to one another? The computer says no rocket connected. The uplink is flashing an error. I have a rocket built, powered, avionics, downlink, etc, I just don't know how to connect the uplink/downlink.

Thanks. I didn't even notice that screw. I can't believe how much time I spent because of a screw.

How do you get it to go anywhere?

The only destinations on the map (rocket UI) is Mars and a single question mark. I can't set the question mark as a destination.

If I try to launch it just burns fuel on the pad.

set it to mars... I know the UI is kind of misleading but think of it as your first destination is orbiting the planet you are on. so pick the planet you are on.

I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was turning the engine on with a logic controller instead of using the on/off button in the rocket UI.

The medium rocket batteries are confusing me. I hook them to the umbilical and the cables blow up. There's two power ports, and a single data/power port. Which is which? There's no information in the in-game F1 menu.

I just keep getting "rocket batteries depleted"
