But yes, don't dilly dally, you'll need to mind your wares.
doing a run without weather, to better understand the systems. Will try later to withstand the storm
But yea, by then you better have your containers mounted somewhere more permanent, even if it's just a flat open steel floor.
Unfortunately no, crates are despawned with the lander, stuff is lost immediately :/
we tried to fly 500m in every direction but could not find it again.
We lost all our seed and crates since they where still attached so it was game over.
I desided to start a new game and as one of the first things dig a hole and put all of the crates down in a little cave and that is an easy pefect solution in start of the game and then grind down the lander so it dissapear.
Only negative thing is that the Egg's spoil extremly fast ( guess 2-3 days ) that is a bit annoying but we can buy it via the trader later in the game.
( I hope they will fix the lander so it wont fly away in storms and also fix the issue with eggs spoiling to fast in a new game.. Example as long as the player did not move them out of the crate on the lander they should be fresh for example 20 days or something like that so the player have a chance to build a base and get started before having to worry about it spoiling )
Right now it seems to kind of work like a roguelike. You learn some stuff from your failed runs which makes your next run work better. At a point you'll be able to survive indefinitely, and then you've "won" and can spend time on making your base fun and amazing.
