stellite HOW?

I have tried and tried I have spent 7 ingame day & nights trying to get this damn thing and even when the pressure and temp is right it still won't cook.
Adv furnace and I got the pressure to 15mpa and 1.9kk twice and it still won't cook 100 silver 200 silica and 100 cobalt

I have been fighting this for 6 straight hours even did full stack of pink and white just 1 1 1 1 11 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 until the entire stack was gone (50each) and still never got there (had to open the valve a few times to keep pressure down but still what am I doing wrong

I even tried 1:2 ratio same result can't get "green" button it got to the range twice but still won't cook it

Sounds like it should have produced stellite.

You have tried smelting other top-tier alloys before?
Pressure below 20mPa?
No other mats in the furnace?

I have only made invar, Electron, solder (which was hard to get temps) and constantane or however it's spelled

Alright, you could try to make one of the other top alloys (like Astroloy) to see if it's just the stellite bugging out.

Out of curiosity, you mentioned you used a valve to reduce pressure, whereas the Adv. Furnace has a built-in volume pump, just making sure you're working with the white, electrical powered furnace?

Went ahead to make a batch to see
Used 6 oxice to 12 volatiles for the initial firing and smelting. After all was smelted, temp was very low, so vented down to 2MPa and fired up again using 5 oxice to 10 volatiles to bring temp back over 1800K.

Alright. You can try to repeat what I did in my screenshot post above.

If it does not produce stellite, my only guess is you're dealing with a bug. Maybe dismantling/rebuilding the furnace might help, but not sure.

If you have trouble with reaching higher temperatures, you can use a more potent fuel gas, which easily reaches way higher temperatures as the standard volatiles-oxygen mixture. Simply use N²O instead of Volatiles. The mix ratio with Oxygen is the same as in the regular fuel mixture.

I don't know what is wrong Idid exactly that and temp got to 1.0 and pressure was still in good range, I give up I'm sure it's just another game breaking bug that is going to make me start over for the 8th time... I think I'm done

OMG I'm stupid
I was using the wrong blue ice...I was using nitrice... not that it mattered when I had the temps in range but it does now when I can't get it there lol

ok that worked like acharm I zero'd it out and did what you said and it worked when I used the right white ore lol
