What is switch grass used for?

I just got switch grass seeds and started growing some. I don't see anything that uses switch grass to be made. What do we do with switch grass or is it decorative? Will we be getting more animals that eat it? Will we be able to mix it with soil to build a strong building material?

I think it's intended to be used for bio mass. Switch grass uses 10 times more water than most other plants, but you get 15 from one harvest.

Note that on the normal branch of the game they are still bugged so you only get 15 from the first harvest. I read that it had been fixed on beta branch.

Composer is also happy to accept grass, to create more hydrogen, to create more water, to create even more grass. (you can also let it rot, to have a different type of fertilizer)

I use potatoes for this process, they grow fast with fertilizer with large yields and suck for food in comparison to tomato (soup) ... I assume because we had milk they were going to add cows at one point is what that grass was for... since they added soy beans, cows werent needed, thats my theory and im sticking with it :P
