Roadmap?

I'm loving the steady stream of updates, but is there a roadmap or timeline for when all the base systems are going to be "finished"? I've been looking at starting up a game again after a year or so but now I want to hold off until all these new tweaks have gone through.

I dont know the road map but your reasins are very sound.

I just spend several days working on an airflow solution to cool my greenhouse and now i see a update to airflow mechanics.
The update may or may not affect my approaches but these change updates can really affect a lot. Phases is another example.

I think you can assume this is a pet/side project and will continuously change. I'm not sure if/when it will ever reach a steady state.

Okay. Just checked and apparently you can't lock in a version (anymore?) I could've sworn you could..

Yeah.

My only complaint is that it would be nice if they let people know when they are working on key core mechanics of gases, airflow, power etc.
and to be fair maybe they did

Would you happen to know if they have a timeline for how much longer they will be altering core mechanics of things like atmo?

Discord is a walled garden that people can't search through from the open internet. A forum would be better for such things.

I only use discord for immediate answers to things, and because pretty much every early access game posts game updates on there, but yeah, it'd be nice if it wasn't used as the ONLY source of communications for stuff when 99% of it is idle ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ chatter from people with nothing better to do all day then use it as their personal chat room.
