Gas Fuel Generator
Been a while away from this game and now i dont know what im missing. Lot of things have changed so started new game in Europa. Now in point to get my power automated. It used to be simple task in europa. Gas Fuel Generator -> 2kPa fuel feed -> lots of power. Now i get like 400W output with 2kPa fuel feed and in allready hugging that red line on pressure meter in generator it self. (pressure readings are just like they used to be, but i think you got like 4kW power before)
So, question is, anyone know if max internal pressure is way up or do i need like turbo volume pump in exhaust side to get that internal pressure down or something else?

thank you!

The numbers you're giving might line up with it corresponding to the change in gas pipe volume...

Depending on how long ago it was that you played, it could also be the nerf. The gas fuel generator maxed out at 80-100kW before, but it got reduced to around 20kW (not 100% sure of the numbers).

It maxes out at 12.7 KW on volatile fuel mix. Just play with the pressure until you get it there, then adjust accordingly. Sounds like you might not know that it got nerfed a while back? It used to make like 90kw. That's not the case anymore.

Off subject but I never ran the gas gens, instead I run a 30-40 TurbineGen wind tunnel setup with 10 active vents pumping ( now going to replace with the power active vents into passive vents, and get a constant 4-5kw power, and when I need more power I just add more TurbineGen to the line.

Thnx, i think i can ignore that pressure meter in generator and just pump that fuel pressure up. 40kPa -> 9,3kW.(more than enough for my base). (3kPa makes you go red, so 40kPa should make you explode in less than second, it didnt) :=)
(didnt know about the nerf, that makes sense....it was kind of OP)

I have mine setup at 50 kPa and fuel cooled to around -85C. It generates about 18 - 18.5 kW average. But it burns through my fuel at that rate so i only use it as a backup if my batteries dip below 20%. The cooler fuel really makes difference, the cooler the better.

Yep, there is some distance to travel before i get my base to infinite power after that GG nerf. (tbh no idea how to do that, yet) And i think they should update that pressure meter in GG so it actually shows your when you are close to blow it up. :=)

infinite power for me is the turbine generators, i use 600-800w to power the vents but generate a constant 4-6kw depending on the number of turbines.
