Landing Pad Gas and Liquid Storage?
So, been trying to sell H20 but the pad blows up when trying to add the bare minimum 100MOL, but the notes say storage is expandable? I'm not seeing any way to expand it. Tried using a tank before the input and the results are the same, with the pads pump ober pressurizing it. Help plz?

There is a storage module, it is built with landing pad kit. Not sure if its gas only tough.

100 mols shouldnt explode your landing pad. Are you playing on a hot planet? With higher temperature pressure increses so you might want to make a hangar and pressurise it to keep the water cool. Landing pad is not insulated...

Just playing on Mars and heated the water to just over 10c like the trader's requirements and the pad blew from just one stack of ice in the crusher. I've cycled though the modules and see nothing about storage, just liquid or gas input and output modules.

Weird, when I closed the game and came back later there is at least gas storage showing in the modules.

Gas tank is holding liquids soo all good now thanks lol

Keep in mind, water ice is 90% water and 10% nitrogen, am wondering if perhaps didn't have the gas output pipe connected for the crusher? (Thus all the N2 gas had nowhere to go, built up pressure inside the machine until it experienced an "unscheduled rapid disassembly").

Nah, I was capturing the N2, i just didn't realize the liquids are stored in the gas storage on the pad. Seems like a rush or oversight on the devs part maybe.

Does anyone know of a way to insulate Landing Pad gas storage? I play on Venus and can't even sell cooled CO2 since it immediatly goes abouve 20C.

I've just placed an insulated tank next to it with insulated pipes and pump it in on demand but most people seem to be making pressurized hangars with climate control.

Unfortunaltly there is no way of insulating it. So the only solution is to remove heat around it. The only way is to seal the landing pad and remove the hot atmosphere. There is no reason to pump in cold breathablr atmosphere atm, however there will be soon. So make an effort and make one.
There is a couple of ideas on this thread https://steamcommunity.com/app/544550/discussions/0/3758852882956857623/
