Atmos changes for plant growth
So, had my base set up close to earth like atmos. 79/21/.04 ... now plants say not correct atmos ... what is the "new" correct atmos?

If your "04" is CO2, I think they now demand at least 5% CO2. It says in the patch notes:

"Changed plants require at least 5% of their growing atmosphere to be their breathing gas for them to grow at full speed. Growth will slow at lower ratios. i.e a potato will now grow optimally in a 50Kpa atmosphere of which 5% is CO2."

Thank you. I will get right into the patch notes. Hopefully means they will grow faster but will still grow in lower co2 since I thought they were trying to get us to have more correct breathing. I had not been using a green house. Tried to set up like earth ... plants, people all using the same air. If this changes that ... I guess a greenhouse it is. Just more things to try. :)

Tomatoes die without CO2, other plants seem to be more resilient.

Saw that tomatoes die real quick if not in good environment. But all is good. I just redid things to make a green house to keep CO2 at 5% or greater. Temp 20.5 to 29.5 and pressure >50 and <95. I just continuously suck out the oxygen to storage and use it to premix with CO2 and N2 to make 79/21/0.04 (N2/O2/CO2) in the rest of the base. easy peasy :)
