Don't need any of that... All that is needed is an empty mining belt or mkii mining belt. Mining belts have a built in cooling function.
Nothing in the belt will ever melt on it's own.
Details, please. So, it's in Beta. Deep night. Are you in a room? You said temperature "nil", so there seems to be no gas around at all, but isn't there really? Measurement instruments (e.g. tablet) do not display super thin trace gasses, and maybe those play a role here.
Could just be a bug, though. At least I don't think the idea is "Your hands are warm gloves or not."
