ffs new rocket issue

ok this time i imput the destination through a logic circut still apeared in space again despite taget set at venus(made sure the numbers were gud) this time as well as my command being dead once i exit i cant get back in and i noticed my fuel tank and engine are missing and my cargo pod is free floating away from command this seems like a significant issue but i dont see it poping up in gd or br disscusions .. ideas someone plz i really enjoy this game but stuff like this is what made me quit the game for over a year last time.. edit it did the save game overwrite again also.... edit ok thanks to some nice person on reddit i think issue solved with a normal rocket (not automated) your command going dead and engine and fuel vaporising is supposed to happen as he worded it its like starting a new game on diff planet but get to choose what to bring with u . winding up in space is due to the destination corodinates simply being buggy as ♥♥♥♥ atm some work some dont and some work sometimes havent got into automated mining rockets yet im told thats a whole nuther lvl of beast to takle that i wont be touching for a while

I can hardly say for sure, but my main guess is that your fuel tank may have gone boom (overpressure / bad mixing/ change in ambiant pressure / mars storm / pressure change cause of gas heating AFTER the filling process for any reason?), anihilating the engine and throwing away the (more hard to destroy) pod?

I never saw anything disapear from the game (anyway not since months of patchs) except for the intended ones; dead player corpses, used flares, perishable foods but we're never totaly safe of bugs in a 0.2 alpha / beta game (especialy one with so much things to simulate).

hmmm maby but i was playing in creative to get hang of things b4 i go full in main game so i was using the creative fuel mixture that u spawn and command said optimal mix ill try only fueling to 75 percent nxt time my brain feels up to it and see if that helps but doesnt explain the other issue of corrupting my saves and making its own save .... unless the rocket exploding during take off when the games engine is transitioning between worlds and auto saving fks it up i have had PLENTY of experience with that happening ( DO NOT save your game then exit while your airlock is mid cycle ive had at least 3 different issues doing that ) anyways ill give it another go tm after work and post results regardless thx for replying ether way

yep usually i avoid saving at any critical moment. Cycling airlock, launching something, moving high gas volumes etc. Never really had issues with it but i'm just carefull for this kind of things :')

the mixture should be good if spawned yup :x may still have pressure issues or other related things but i really can't say for sure just by guessing :o

well first off will not let me launch without full fuel second engine and fuel pod dissapeared again and cargo pod is nxt to the dead command modual again but this time i at least made it to a planet set logic to mars this time but command is dead again and wont let me enter it after i leave and finaly it did the save thing again in the tutorial it didnt say to but imma try again disconnecting the pipes this time before i launch

ok correction this time it corrupted TWO saves tryed making a back up of my save just before i inputed my logic but that game was also corrupted wtf is this sht

hmm come to think of it despite being able to launch command never did say launch conditions met even in tutorial but tutorial ends after launch with out travle could that have an effect?

i haven't messed around enough with rockets to help much :/
Maybe someone will have ideas of what may happen. It can be a bug or some tricky logic, i have no clue :/

Rocketry and spaceship are probably the most "work in progress" after the multiplayer rework. So i guess it's a dangerous territory to venture on for now :')

As of save erasing, have you tried using really different savegames? maybe just a number mess with how the game save severall worlds.

nope once u disconnect the pipes even if full fuel wont let you launch

yep even tryed one a proper save name and my back up just a bunch of letters and thx anyways for at least throwin ideas out there unfortunatly not to many players activly partake in teh discussions so im not puting to much hope into someone else showing up with an answer anytime soon

no longer care if anyones reading or not gunan keep writing here to keep this thread active and to keep record of my own doins ok reloaded my secondary back up this one that didnt get corrupted but unlike last time despite not changing nuthing and just hitting launch again i didnt even make it to planet like i did last time
