how to cool the fuel generator?

i made a minimal survival base
all ok but the fuel generator can work only few second before overheating
i put a water radiator circuit a portable canister wall cooler
all go low as -21celcius on the moon but as soon i seton the generator the room become 80celcius and take a minute for going back to -21 with the wall cooller or maybe 10min without
this make nearly useless the generator who canot charge a single led on normal stationary battery
i doubt that a single air conditioner will change thing a lot
did i have to increase th pressure in room or to make a more larger room or to cover all he walls with radiators
what the trick
and why the portable generator not have such limitation
what the electric suport change at the portable enerator it seem only charge pluged batery not output by the coil is it jjust a data coil?
do i have to make a room sensor that switch on the fuel generator for a single second when the tem p is down?
is that not possible to manually use it

from what i see i have to vacum the room of heat gas and pressure it with cold gas
that make sens until i see thousands of radiator outside
and is the thousand of computers also needed?

It's probably not the best way but if your on Mars you can pump cold air from the atmosphere into the room and then when it's too hot just pump it out

I always fill a large tank with atmosphere for various purposes and once its got a bit of gas pumping it out takes no time at all

That just to consume the energy produced. Computer are for configuring IC chips, selecting the trade options with the merchant, controlling the spaceship and some other things.

i dont understand just how computer or ic work but if thousand are needed its must make complex task or maybe they are 512octet ram each what seem less powerfull than electromecanical computers of 1920
actually im not sure the fuel generator is a start game device it probably had be better that a research being reequired for unlock it
the few it worked it charged 2led of batery in ten second maybe im wrong because i have two basic solar and two normal
maybe on the moon its not the best planet for fuel generator even with a big tank full of -32celcius i doubt that will last long
i have no idea why its required to trade and from myself i dont need lot of power maybe a single kw is enought

As I said, computers are not needed in the thousands in this game, there is no such thing as computing power in here.
The Gas Generator can be set up very easily depending on the planet, keeping it working for steady use is another story, and it will require more work.
The Solid Generator is way more simpler, generates just a fraction of the heat, it doesn't require any atmosphere and outputs a fixed 20Kw that is wasted if it's not dumpled into a battery

but since near evrything in this game requiert volatile and oxygen it seem fair to prioritize it

since i have no idea of what represent 20kw it not help
i have 3battery controller and a normal battery what is never loaded by the 2little solar and the 2normal solar
in fact im in electric shortage all the night since the begining mostly because i not spending time to mine coal as it last just few second per staack

20 Kw is enough to provide to 4 fully equipped light cable networks (because after 5Kw the cable would burn), and is somehow the equivalent of 40 solar panels fully effective. So it's probably enough for a small/medium base, especially if you pair it with solar hooking it up as a backup (check CowsAreEvil very good tuto for that).

my 2 basic solar + solid generator cable burned when i linked them to the output port of the batery inbetween power controller
but at the begining the solid generator never burned coil despit being rated 20kw output
also my air conditioner coil burned i read it input up to 7kw in wiki
but this diferent info in unoficial wiki are often wrong as pressure regulator not include compressor

Well you must use Heavy cables after the solid generator, as it outputs 4x more than cable coil can handle (and the battery charge will pull out the maximum from the generator). If you had past experience with coil not burning after the solid generator that might be because the sum of all running devices connected down in the network did not add up to more than 5Kw.

but all that is undocumented even in the unofficial wiki and more strangely in f1 stationpedia their is missibg or wrong info
why they dont just copy paste in stationpedia the value mentioned in the files of each device
dont say me its the meaning of the game to hide such data
worst of all even when using the big air conditionner and the wall cooler in the same time i not reach to make the fuel generator working for more than 10second evry day

Tripodalt, let me help you by starting with what you are doing wrong.
First, take into account that this game is not yet balanced gameplay-wise. You won't get all the information just by looking at a device. There is a specific tablet cartrige for that, the Configuration cartridge, print it and look at all the logic parameters on each device.

Second, the AC unit, the big one that consumes A LOT of energy, is not meant for new players, not for the early game either. Leave it for now and use only wall heater and wall cooler, the cooler will need some lenght of pipe with radiators(optional) and COLD GAS inside of it to dump the heat (the lengh of the pipe, the ammount of gas and temperature of it you will know by trial and error). Just for now, start and stop them manually until you learn how to use logic chips to automate the temperature control for them.

Third, the gas generator is even a more complex machine than the AC unit, it is meant from even more experienced players, and more end game too, you don't need it now, you don't even need the solid generator if you have 3-4 solar planes and one stationay battery(the one that you print with kit and construct in the ground, not the small ones that goes to power tools of the APC).

Fourth, start in the Moon, learn all the gameplay mechanics until farming, logic chips and IC programming. Then you can switch to Mars or try again in the Moon until you learn how to automate smelting and use the Advanced Furnace for 3 metal alloys. Only then try to understand how Gas Generator works and how to cool it, the ammount of energy it provides is for extremly big bases and in hot planets, it is very difficult to cool it.
FORGET THE THOUSANDS COMPUTERS YOU SAW IN THAT VIDEO, clearly it's confusing you beacuse you are a new player to the game.
For radiators and stationary batteries you will need steel, the easiest alloy to make, you can use the normal furnace and drop oxyte and volaites ice directly in the furnace, no need for piping yet.

And finally, the wiki is outdated because it's not official, and very few people contribute to it, the gameplay stationpedia DOES have updated info, but only the one that the devs want you to know without experimenting in the game itself. If you want more complete information, more accurate and almost up-to-date, check the "Silent1 and Viperel's Stationeers Cheat Sheet", it's a Google Spreadsheet with data, charts and formulas with everything that you need to know to play the game. im aware now that i missed the path of developement
i had to make a bunch of solar
but im atracted to test all the device and master themmanually before diving in logic
because before spending long time to learn logic i have to produce water and food and fuel
so i tested the wall cooler at first and it looked not very eficient and i had hope tha AC unit will make thing possible
not that i requiert fuel generator working full time but i just wonder how i will do it when i will requiert massive amount of electric since im crafting the mining extractor i guess i will need sone kw for work
the cheat sheet is also wrong and incomplete i looked for it only half of the device are data
actually i can continue like that because i dont miss of mandatory things but i wonder how its possible to survive on hot or cold or storm planets when its the emergency to rush at safe room all the time

The wall cooler efficiency depends on the coolant gas in the exaust pipe. In the Moon and Mars, if you put 300 moles of Pollutants in a 10 pipe segment with 4 radiators, you can cool pretty easily and fast a greenhouse of 8 grids. You just haveturn it on and off when you see fit, later on you can automate it with a Gas sensor and some logic chips
Don't try to fill and pressurize an entire base in your initial runs because it is a somewhat difficult task as it requires big amount of gases.

Some machines are only usable with automation as they have many variables that you can't manaully control them all at the same time, the advanced Furnace is one of them, the Gas Generator is the other.

Regarding the spreadsheet, please, tell me what you found that has incorrect information. Perhaps you misunderstood what you saw, there is almost nothing wrong in the sheet.
