and for the alien specy what info
https://store.steampowered.com/dlc/544550/
The damage etc is the same as an humanoid afaik.
But been a while since I played as an Zrilian or HEM Droid.
There is no gain buying this DLC, just the fact it easier to play as a Droid on certain planets that don't drain your batteries to much.
Zrilian use Volatile gas as breathable air instead of pure Oxygen in your suit etc. I guess that is a bit more of a challenge to set up on a planet and habitat with that maybe.
is it hydrogen or what
is they feed and drink the same as human then ?
Joking (kinda...) aside, They make for interesting gameplay, especially if you play multiplayer. The Robot is kinda 'easy mode', but good if you find the whole food and water thing a pain rather than the good gameplay mechanic that it is. The Zrilian is interesting too, since you can have your own little part of a base where you eat, and lay your eggs (or whatever you aliens do) and it can be an interesting addition to have to have two separate atmospheres if you play multiplayer with human types.
Worth the money? Not sure about that, I got them in the recent sale. Depends how much you want to support the game really, I guess. The good thing is that they are 100% non-essential, the way DLC should be in my opinion.
For a person living in France, 6$ is not such a big price. So if I were you, I would already get the DLC, don't know what's the debate is about. I personally view these DLCs more as a way to support the developers, rather than a way to get more content. The only reason I don't have these DLCs is because at the moment I have no way to pay online.
if the game please me i can even buy cosmetics that dont impact the game as space engineers did but since they did this they also stopped to develop the game core that is not so much fun despit great
for stationeers i like the more detailed gameplay and i wanted encourage them to develop robot and drone in this game so i buyed the droid
tought i not tested and i seriously doubt that i fun to get the life easier i such manner so i hope it will drain a lot of battery in compensation of all food water gas removal
for the alien it sound at first great to deal with breathing explosive and chalenging but but i hate how it look human and i will hate the explosive breather feed and drink as human did and worst of all i will hate he not drink and eat but im 100% sure their is actually not other cooking receip and no other liquid in game
i also hate robot that look human and i had loved a tracked or wheleed one that not pass ladders this will make the diference
i know they ever throw at our face the balanced realism but i know that bostom dynamic dog root is 18Kw peek what make me estimate an autonomy of less than 30min so the ATLAS bipedal must be impressively ridicul

Drink and food is the same.
this game seem out of all logic
we must learn all hidded puzzle solution for complete anything
Nothing is hidden though, and not out of logic if you see it as a game and not 100% accurate on all physics.
because real physic and fantasy puzzle are mixed
and it still hard because tutorial not covert all tricks
especially when the wiki is not linked ingame or better reachable trought the tablet tool
yes not 100% or even 50%
this really a trouble when game look like simu and is not in the details
for the dlc at this price it had at least content detailed accurate description
changing the gameplay or being purely cosmetic but not inbetween
as it seem the whole trope of this game
