Mk 2 tools slower?
We have now made mk 2 tools in our survival world but when we wanted to test them out we discovered that the mk 2 wrench and crowbar and possible more is slower than the regular ones. Are we they only ones having this issue or is it made so on purpose?

Mk II tools are for hotter planets. They're of zero benefit on any other world. And, yes, they're slower.
Edit (after seeing Discord messages): apparently, Heavy Mk I tools now have higher heat tolerance, and are faster than Mk IIs.

Not true about not having any real use on other planets as the welder for me is better than the Gas powered one

If you are using the regular Arc welder, then yes it is faster and better then the Welding Torch. But as letaquiner said, the Mk II tools (And there is a Mk II Arc Welder) is slower then their Mk I counterparts. So what letaquiner said is 100% true. The Mk II tools have NO USE on any of the other planets except the hot ones.

They look cooler :evilfy: I wish i could flip the skins on the tools
