Tutorial- split milk, split flour

are you asking if you can split milk and flour if its together?

I am still in the tutorial, just grew wheat and made flour. The microwave wants part of the milk and part of the flour, but I cannot figure out how to split the food items. I had no issue splitting other items earlier in the tutorial, but I cannot seem to split milk or flour.

I think you just click them in the microwave 1 by 1

"r" is the default key to split what's in your hand (into the other empty hand)
Or alt+click on it (whether or not it's in your hand, but have one hand empty - maybe has to be your right-hand, not 100% sure)

Or alt+click on the letter "R" beside the hand that's holding it.

"R" (which works on some other items) didn't help, and splitting via hand to hand didn't work. clicking item on the microwave let me add units, so that seems to work.

I went through the tutorial recently and wondered this as well. When adding the milk it was like each click added 1g ad it took 10g, so 10 clicks. So when I saw the flour was 50g i thought I would have to click 50 times. But instead, the default click was 50g.

And it wasn't possible to split the stack for me either. Just throwing this in for anyone else who may run into this and find this thread later.

Run it through a stacker. The Cereal Bar uses 50 per bar, so just set the stacker to multiples of 50 :)
