What is special about the Crate Mk II?

The Dynamic Crate and Crate Mk II have the same amount of slots, same amount of inventory, and neither seem to have any insulation. I put ice in both tiers of crates and had them sit in the sun (lids closed) on the Moon and both containers lost ice at the same time. Does anyone know what, if anything, you get from the extra cost of the Crate Mk II?

been looking into the xml files to see...
was wondering the same... its a tier 2 item takes gold to make..

Yup, just made one, other than looks nothing special. But as usual, that pedia doesn't mention any difference aside from the name either so how would we know?
