Perpetual motion power using turbines
The turbines create enough power that a hallway full of them driven by a handful of active vents to recycle the air in a closed loop can achieve a net power positive. I had about twenty of them running three active vents, and at a rough system pressure of about 25 kPa it was generating around 1.3 kW, more than enough to cover the 300 W for the vents. This should really be fixed, but in the mean time, thermodynamics be damned! It's a bit resource intensive to get set up, and it takes up a fair amount of room, but once it's running it can at least be your backup power.

I've done the same.. have 4 sets of 20turbines. made one set in a horse shoe shape to keep it small. . i use 6 passive on one side and 6 active vents on the other that uses 600w and with 20 turbine makes 1.6-1.8 KW of power so about 1KW after the active vents. I guess I need to try it with just 3 active vents. however i kept my pressure in the system at 100kpa and used a tunnel of iron frames to avoid blowing up walls/windows.
Dialing in the pressure is a bit touchy, sometimes an increase in pressure will lower the output, but then letting it go even higher might improve it again.
Also can add water which flowing between frames and creating additional pressure difference.
You can try using atmospherics filters, if you dont put any filter, it will push and suck air for only 5W, im not sure about the strenght but you could try adding more if it's not strong enough and you would save a lot of power.
+1
All pumps should be volume pumps. And they should consume energy relative to to the work being done. No more magic pressure eating pumps and vents.
Programming nightmare. Yikes
I did some testing in Mars, I filled a tunnel made of windows with ~119 kPa and put filtration units to push the air from one end to the other with 6 passive vents at each end (haven't check if the number of vents affect anything).

I found out that only one filtration unit without any filter (10w) is necessary and more than this will only add power consumption.

I managed to increase the output of the turbines from 38w to more than 60w per turbine increasing the number of pipe between the input of the filtration unit and the passive vents (no matter the shape, just more piping), it seems that each additional pipe section between them, will add almost 2w of power per turbine, so if you have 5 turbines then one extra pipe will add ~10w and so on.

Conclusion: for only 10w you can generate an enormous amount of "free power" just adding more pipe at a ratio of ~2w per turbine per pipe between the input of the filtration unit and one end of the tunnel.
This will most probably get nerfed.
Criteria for 90W power generation per turbine generator.
5 active vents.
2 or 3 passive vents.
At least 5 turbine generators.
And 6 to 9 radiators to remove heat generated by turbine power generation.
Turbine tunnel pressure 16 to 30 pa (before installing turbine generator)

Warning:
1. The reason why the turbine generator is not working is because of the high pressure inside the tunnel.
2. The operation according to the change in internal pressure according to the required pressure value and atmospheric temperature for each gas has not been tested.

I get 900W (10 turbine generators) with only using 10W input. :)
I'm running 30 turbines powered by filtration unit, all running at full 90W.
I consider it more of an oddity than actual exploit as it requires more effort than just slapping few solars someplace.
boo, this is worse than radiators in vacuum or pipe network gas deletion

im with you, it makes much more sense to make wind turbines for power on any planet with atmosphere and if it doesnt have an atmosphere solar panels make much more sense.

it's a interesting exploit, but not a super beneficial one like the infinite power loop from transformers. honestly you could achieve the same thing legit on most atmosphere planets by abusing the day/night temperature/pressure difference that most planets have.
