Question regarding Filtration system cooling
Alright, I've searched high and low for an answer to this but haven't found it.

What I want to know is what outputs need to be cooled from a filtration system, and how much?
And yes, I know that it depends on a lot of factors,so I'll set up the scenario:
- Input gas will at most be "room temperature" (20C is what I'm aiming at)
- The gas might run through 5 filters (one for each normal gas and remainder will be X)
- The filtration units themselves will be inside the base at room temperature

Questions:
- So which pipes do I need to cool? (both filtrationen and waste?)
- How much cooling would I need? (if needed I will run pipes outside the base with radiators)
- Anything that I might have missed?

And a bonus question:
how much air can a filtration unit process at any time?

Big thanks if anyone is able to give an answer to these questions.

Generally I have found I don't need cooling for my filtration process. I typically have a separate pipe/radiator setup for general room cooling (somewhat pressurized pipe, leading out into space with radiators etc).

Cooling is more important for furnace output, because very bad things happen otherwise. :D

See, this is what my small time experiments have told me too; as long as the intake air isn't too hot it shouldn't be a problem. And my plan is to cool the exhaust from Furnances before letting it get into the filtration system.

I just want to make sure that this is infact true before I commit.

I saw a video of a guy who doesn't use fuel for his furnace. He has a 1 block room filled with heaters, pipes, and radiators to heat the pipes in a closed system. I'm not sure this is intended gameplay, but could be fun to try. At least I think he's not using fuel...I fell asleep halfway through because I was watching in bed lol.

Seems like a lot of work for something that could be made easier, but still kinda cool.

HOWEVER, it answer none of my questions.

Good lord that's probably the most daunting thing I've ever seen so far for this game.
