IC Code Help
I am trying to test some code out, but for some reason nothing is happening.
For a simple test I wanted to get an LED turned on. I have the IC housing (with the chip inside), connected to the computer and wall light (both power and data are connected).
I put the wall light on d1 in the IC housing and in the editor wrote:
s d1 On 1
But the light never turns on. What am I missing to get this code to do anything?

Edit: SOLVED. I needed to export the code to get it to run (thought that was for exporting to workshop)

You sure you set d1 and not d0?
Numbering can be confusing ... thinking "I did just set the first one so it's d1"

The code is the 1 line i mentioned above, there is nothing more that I needed (to my knowledge). Is exporting the code the way to make it run?

Edit: Yea, I needed to export the code. Didn't know that was needed, thought exporting was to upload to workshop. Its working now.

Export will upload the code to the IC (programming it) and Import will fetch the current code from the IC into the editor.

If you have several devices using the same code you just select them one by one and upload your code on each of them.

If you want do some testing of your code, there is a really good website providing an IC Simulator for Stationeers => https://stationeering.com/tools/ic

Thanks will check it out. Also, do you know if there is a way to execute multiple IC codes from the same computer, or do we need a computer for every different program?

If your IC housings are on the same network, you just need to select which one to program via top left drop down menu. so one computer can be used to setup multiple IC codes.

Okay thanks. I just noticed that exporting saves the code on the chip, and then you can edit something else and then just import to go back and edit a previous chip.
