Tutorial Airlock not working?
Can someone run the basic tutorial on the airlocks and verify if they are working correctly at the point where it says to build 2 composite doors?

All other tutorials up to this point have been pretty straightforward and I have had no issues. However, no matter how many times I build the 'composite door' I get no quest advancement (aka no check mark on those 2 items). Both doors get power and can be manually opened and closed via the button, so I know the power slots on the bottom are in the correct locations so I have no idea what I am doing wrong or if the quest itself is just bugged and not recognizing correct door placement.

I have never seen one stage of the tutorial from the get-go really work at all.
Tested it for fun a week ago and I can't pick up things even if the tutorial ask me to do so.

I recommend to watch some known Stationeers builders as Rhadamant or Bushwacka etc to learn the game instead.

Just tried the tutorial and I can't rename them because they aren't 'on' and thus can't be interacted with. Despite the fact that they say they are powered and will open and close?

- Figured it out, the labeller needed to be turned on.

Would there be an interest to make a world file for download in workshop with different types of airlocks? From the simplest ones to advanced and including modded ones?

Hi Apostolos

This could be related to a known issue on object placement and there is a fix currently in testing.
Also if you haven't already make sure the composite door is the door you are placing as the first door in the kit is a glass door. scroll to select the composite door.

I have added some extra steps to tutorial 7 requests the player to pick up and turn on the labeler on the BETA branch.

I'm having this same issue. In the airlock tutorial I've replaced the faulty wiring, and i can place one composite door and get the "Place composite door #1 in highlighted position" credit, but when I place #2 it gives no credit. I've deconstructed several times and rebuilt, but still no credit. And yes i'm choosing the correct door from the mouse wheel options.

I know what the issue is, i think. There are 4 different orientation choices for the doors. N, E, W, S. North and South both snap to the door area, but only the north option will give credit.

Just to be clear, it is still not working. There is no obvious way to finish the airlock tutorial.

No, I did all tutorials yesterday and all worked fine.
Are you sure you use the right door. As said before you need the composite door which needs you to scroll through the door built option till your get to composite door. And it must be faced right.

I also got stuck on the Airlock tutorial. Completed both doors and hooked up the power and then the tasks were "Compete the Airlock Door" with no indication of what they wanted to complete.

The previous tutorial almost got stuck because after smelting the iron I put it in my backpack then the autolathe but the quest was demanding the ingot go into my hand so "Pick up the Iron Ingot" didn't complete. This one wasn't blocking as I was able to mine/smelt more iron and later you are shown how to eject the ingots from the lathe.

I was gated on the first tutorial as I played a frame in the wrong spot and there is no grinder in the first tutorial to remove it.

The tutorials are unforgivably specific. Getting the ingot into the lathe is a proper objective. Putting the ingot in your hand is an optional task being treated as a required task.

The Airlock Tutorial continues to be un-compleatable I get to the point to place the passive vents and active vents and when done it does not see the action was done.

Just got the game a hour ago and had the same issue.

Seems if you place the wrong door or place the door the wrong way around it causes the tutorial to bug out.

Restarted this one Placed both Comp doors with the cable facing into the gap between them and worked fine.

The Airlock's can be finicky. If you cannot select the objects you need for the airlock a good way to reset them is to dismantle and rebuild the objects. Also if the chip inside the console gets messed up I have had success with completely dismantling the console and starting over. But I've also had the chip get stuck in a state where I could not get the airlock to work.

I had the same issue: both doors placed correclty and working fine by hand, but one tutorial item not getting checked. Issue got solved by finishing one door first and only then working on another.

Looks like issue got triggered by putting plastic on both doors, then putting glass on both doors.
