This could be a great game, I have over 600 hours on it, but, the lack of info is very frustrating.
I found all of the mixes listed for all of the alloys to work :-/
I know what you mean though, to get a full picture you often have to look at multiple items (Advanced furnace, alloys, fuel, gas mechanics) and piece it all together. That's partly the fun of the game for some, but appreciate it can be annoying for others. It'd be hard to do those types of tutorials for every single different possibility in the game though, so this is probably where there is a reliance on the community, YouTube videos, that kind of thing.
From my experience, the Superalloy ranges are so tight, that it seems to me it's almost expected that you control it with IC. I think it'd be really hard to do manually (although I've not tried. I just rigged it straight up with IC).
I never understood why the wiki didn't get more support. The info is old and has always been lacking. You would think for a game like this there would be all kinds of info but no. Theres more technical info on CoD.
Lmao i so much agree with that.
Best advice i can give to learn the advance furnace is to have a creative game where you can test out different settings for it wich i did and even there took me 6 tries just to make waspalloy no IC. Dont need a pressure regulator on the line the advance furnace has them built in for both input and output just make sure to put output at 0 when you start it or else you will start losing your pressure and heat right away. Well sorry thats if your using a canister storage if your using straight from tank or mixing station then yeah regulator would be usefull not to waste.
Biggest problem I have is that activating the furnace ignites any gas left in the input pipe (even with the input valve closed) , so still need a valve on the pipe. I'm using the mixer valve
Yeah true.
Lol no but i should try that but i would need a lot of oxygen and hydrogen did with a regular one to test how much pressure they take and its 60Mpa.
My guess its either the same or maybe 80-100Mpa
Any chance you noticed the pressure in furnace before it blew up?
Ok so its the same as regular furnace.
