Problems with Airlocks?
Is anyone else experiencing an issue with the airlocks? I've had the console bug out on me 5 times in a hour. By "bug out" I mean that once I've selected the relevant objects (2 doors, vent, light & sensor) the button goes green, but it still says error in config and it won't cycle the airlock at all.

The issue seems to happen when I've edited an existing and powered airlock setup (triggering the doors to relock - they make the locking noise), but once it happens I seem to have no choice but to scrap the circuitboard and put a new one in. I could be that once the connection is temporarily broken to an object (EG: 1 of the doors) then the console doesn't detect the reconnection, and stays locked out indefinitely.

Reloading the game, quitting completely and reloading the save... nothing fixes it short of a new circuitboard, which then plays up the next time I change the wiring.

It's honestly getting quite frustrating. I'm effectively trapped in my base unless I want to vent my 100kPa / +30 degree air out onto Europa (which I really don't want to do, especially if the airlock just going to play up again).

I tried everything I could think of: cycling power, removing and reinstalling circuitboard, even deconstructing the console and putting it all back together.

Here's what finally got it to work:
1. You can restore manual control by deselecting the doors in the config menu (with data disk inserted). When they are selected you can't operate them anymore.
2. One of the doors must be open.

Once I deselected one of the doors from the config menu I could operate it again and open it. Then when I selected it again the error went away. I haven't been using it for a long period of time so perhaps there are other bugs in it still. Right now it's working great for me, but man what a frustrating learning experience.

I had an issue with an airlock recently and I think it was because both doors were closed (aircycle not running). I recall I fixed it by opening one of the doors. If you can't open it manually with crowbar or electronically, just remove the power cable and force it open with the crowbar before reconnecting it. not sure how this happened, but I've not had an issue since.

Glad you sorted it! Good to know about that, will try that too if it happens to me again.

When setting up the console, select the exterior door first (it must be open) then select the sensor, then the interior door, then the vent. For some reason this order is what fixed it for me.

I can confirm that it errors continually if both doors are closed. It used to automatically open 1 of them, but I'm guessing that they removed that feature (or it's a bug).

There was an old issue with this I am not sure was ever changed. I don't say bug because I think it was working as intended, but again not positive if it changed. The airlock board holds different states, just pulling it out didn't reset it. Whether it is still valid or not, when I pull one out I trash it and always start new.

I had this issue, start googling, found this one solution and it worked out. I dont even trash it. And since then with every airlock that bugged this solution helps, so...

And yeah, i bougth this game at mid january, so i only played on this one version.
