Start/Stop Air Conditioner through a console?
I have been trying to do this for a while and I am starting to think there is no way to do it but is there a way to start/stop the airconditioner via a conolse. I know you are able to toggle the power on and off through a colsole but is there a way to adjust the temp and start and stop the air conditioner through a console? I ask this because I put my air conditioner outside my greenhouse and I am starting to get annoyed having to go outside my greenhouse to start and stop it. Thanks!

Run a power line and connect power+data into the AC and link to Console installed inside greenhouse, insert a Power Control circuit into the Console, set it to toggle power for the AC.

For Temps you would need to apply logic chips to the setup to do this all auto. (IIRC I read that computers and logic are broken?) so not sure if computers can be used, been using chips myself for this exact same dilema, but I started a new game the other night due to experimenting gone wrong (and my lack of wanting to fix my base afterwards) LOL

Does this just turn on and off the temp or does it start and stop the AC because for the AC to cool the start button on the AC needs to be pressed?

The first part just powers on, but if you place 2 Logic Write chips in the setup, have 1 write command to power on and the other to set mode to Open.

Ok thanks ver much. I have been trying for like the past week to figure this thing out. Thanks!

No prob, here is a short vid showing it on the computer: https://youtu.be/nU8VuEXP97Y

Below example with a few chips. Setup is a simple read static value of 1 from mem chip so Logic Writes are commanded to write (true) which write to AC - ON and Open.). Simply decrease value on mem chip to 0 to test turning off via the chips Apply this logic to a Console Power switch, and have a Logic Read chip in place of the Logic Memory chip which will read if the Console is toggled On or Off and init same function as the static set logic memory.

No problem, glad to help!

Just be aware that you might need to use chips for auto temp control, turning on/off at certain temps etc.. Computers work, but then fail it seems, whatever is broken with them crops up just when you think everything is working great. Had that happen to me then I scrapped it for chips which was annoying.
