daylight sensor grid information
the daylight sensor has an information like grid sun or similar... but you can't read them. you only can read the angle. i want to make a daylight power control to switch lights on / off. ok, i can find something on yt .. maybe... but i don't understand why we have an information and we can't use it?

Here's a daylight sensor that should switch your lights off during the day and on at night. You could make a more complicated circuit that would compare the solar angle so a memory value for when you feel like it is bright enough (if sunrise and sunset are still too dark for you), but that's a bit trickier.

Personally, I feel like it is too dark inside my base most of the time without the lights on, so I just have my lights attached to a large battery that is charged during the day, and my lights run 24/7.

i found the solution and i also have a row of batteries. actually i produce more then 25 kw with solar panels and need permanently less 10 kw. next step is a gas generator. i use the daylight sensor to my outbase expermential projects. in the base i have also 24/7 lights or a switch by sensors so special rooms like the battery room or the recycler room has light if i use that room and light off if i'm not in the room. works fine with a little programmcode. also automated door open/close.

you can read it, its the 'activate' variable i think. its 0 when there is no grid sunlight then 1 when there is. i just set one up a week ago so i know it works.
