gas canisters keep exploding

im trying to change my airlock to store gas inside a gas canister but it keeps exploding

nope, reduced my atmospheres to 101 and it exploded anyway, should i be moving the tank to inside my base rather than the airlock itself?

Having a gas canisters holding gas to the point of overpressure is never a good workshop practice, this thing is a bomb at 100 atmo, try lower the pressure to below 90. If it was me I will only hold 70% at all time.

so using a canister to hold airlock atmo is a no go, im just gonna route the pipe to my portable air tank

it can work well but it might depend on how long the pipes are too as they will take up some volume. the tank can run out or overpressurise after a few cycles if your room is not always 100kpa though.

I don`t know why to play with canisters, when possible to build full filtration system and connect gasses through mixers to room with airlock. Then forget about it and move to build something else.

I've always run the pipe into my main area for the airlock. That way, it pulls in what I've already got, and puts it back in there when I walk outside. A LOT less hassle than dealing with canisters and volume issues.

Thats what i do too, active vent in the airlock and a passive vent in the base, this seems like the easiest way to do it to me.

Just use portable tank for it - it won't blow (not to mention it has decent volume).

There is probably a real bug with the gas canister. Watch the very end of my video, which shows all my canisters explode at the same time for no valid reason.
