Until they broke it of course...
EDIT: the light even switched its color from green to red during the cycle and the doors where temporarily locked ensure perfect behavior...
We must continue to hold our breath and hope for a good compromise soon.
E.g. the I had to tweak the external pressure setting for my active vents, so setting up a temporary computer with 1 state (and the condition 'Computer - power - on') allows to assign these values directly.
nice idea to do at least something with this units.
they should at least can move one value between chips.
so we can use them as an interface between two Logic networks
we will see if there comes somthing useful in the future.
for me it's the chain of problems
- the space u need for the chips,
this block all other stuff in the room.
so u need to generate Space only for chips
- u can separete Logic to smaller networks but in this case,
u are unable to keep major values avaible all over the place.
and there is no solution for this problem.
- computers are setup station they have no real value
in the actual state. We can setup up a Station on mars, moon
and in space but our "computers" can't add mem A to B and write it to C.
at the moment there is only one way to do things,
and i dont like this way ;)
My buddy was having issues getting them to do exactly what he wanted them to do with the computer, but he was trying to add lots of states. I just use simple less then a certain solar angle, angle my panels this way, and greater then this solar angle, angle my panels this was. It worked fine for me with no issues.
they are not far better, they are the only way to do it right now!
cause computers are more or less useless, in there actual state they shouldn't exist. ;)
I bought game a week ago and the logic for computer in game now might not be amazing, but it works for basic stuff just fine. You can say they are useless all you want, but that is false.
you are right i dont like the actual state of the computers and in MY opinion they are useless,
at the end i can do everything with logic components, and i have done this until i write this thread. ;)
U use it for solartracking, i use the 1.5 incl. min/max the get rid of the -% bug of the panels on sunset. so i think we play the game in a complete diffrent way.
i don't know u but EA means for ME testing and improving! And computers have to be improved in some way, probably not in the way i would wish but improved!
And at least what are this basic things?
and be sure u left the points which u can do with a dail and a LW.
@sooty
in my opinion they should have a field of action
in which they are far better then Logics. And in other situaltions the logic should be better so that both have the "right to exist" (don't know how to get this in english right)

Daseinsberechtigung. 🤣
das war der Ausgangspunkt ;)
