Underground Base hit a road block... err lava block.

So I had a vision of creating a base underground, kinda like in Resident Evil's Movie. The Hive.

Anyway... I can only mine 19 stories deep (stair cases) and then I hit lava tiles. I need to go atleast another 20 deep before this will be part of my vision. Any way we can ... idk go lower? Or... program the game to help a stationeer out?

Devs probably didnt think someone will try to build that deep in early alpha version :)

I have only one question for you... How do you go back up to the surface when there are no elevators implemented yet?

You could try messsing with the setting in the save world.xml <BedrockLevel>-39.5</BedrockLevel>

See if that does it.
