Logic computer disabled
After last patch all my computers with logic motherboard don't work. They can see if condition was reached and can switch to next state, but all actions are not done. So all logic is broken. In all my worlds that i was trying it in.

Did you start a new game? I tried it right after the patch and it seemed to work for me?

no, not testet in a new game yet - and Solarpanels on CPU-logics still going good - but not so the Computers

So logic is broken in saves pre this update? I really have no wish to start over again!

That sucks if logic computers are broken on saves.

I'm having the same issue, my solar array no longer moves but is still able to switch states on the screen..... =(

Ya so they add this patch with out testing it first? -1 playerbase

well, you, me, we all are the testers - welcome to early access :)

but yeah, logic seems broken - i'm using computers to control my solar panels, and it doesnt work anymore :(

Agreed my solar computer is not long moving the panels either :(

I also noticed this issue with my solar array. Reads the values, progresses through the states, but doesn't commit the values to the solar panels.

Additionally, when I went to do some testing by making another logic motherboard...I noticed they now require 15g of electrum...which was not the case when I built my first logic motherboard a couple days ago. I haven't yet made electrum yet.

I ended up scrapping my pc based system and implementing a chip system.

Honestly, this feels like they want to push logic motherboard gameplay back...but I don't think the current functionality in the logic motherboard is really worth what it takes to make it. Hope to see that functionality expand greatly.

did a bit of testing on asteroids as well, ALL computers (with logic motherboards) suffer from this allways it seems

This bug was the reason i switched from computer controlled sun tracking to the logic system and eventually came off of the beta branch. Can't believe they released the update knowing this bug was a thing. In less they're wasn't enough people on the beta branch so it was put down as player error. Anyway what ever, hopefully it gets fixed soon because i was planning on doing some more logic stuff with the computers (guess i won't be just yet).

I have not played recently, but it was a known bug with patches that broke the computer logic. Most switched to chips, so if you want a game that does not break on you every so many patches use the chips. Watch the patch notes and use chips until you see a fix.

yepp, having same issue, just bought the game a day or two ago. thought i was just doing something wrong, since n00b here. but spent the greater part of yesterday trying to find out why my panels wouldnt move.

so spent 1 day trying to get the logic of how this game works and the other trying to find out where my understanding was wrong only to find out its a bug. cant really be angry though, its early access after all.

maybe ill try the chip aproach later, right now im out of energy.
