Active Vent: PressureInternal/External
I noticted those two properties on the Active Vent a couple of times. Does anyone know what exactly they control? Because they are R/W Properties (Read and Write).

First time I saw them I though they show the current internal and external pressure but, thats not it. What are they? And what does changing them do?

And while we're at it: What does Open true|false do? I mean there is Power true|false and On true|false .... for what is open true|false?

If possible please no guessworks here, I know the meaning of the words as well, but I want the facts only.

EDIT: Correction the property "Power" is no longer available. But "Setting" is there. The seem to be the throughput like with Volume Pumps right?

Found one thing out. The Active Vent seems to have a built-in pressure regulator, which is actually nice, but you can only control it by setting these parameters via Logic Writer or Computer. One could use the newly introduced "Dial" to be able to manually change the value later, but thats for another discussion.

Mode: Pipe -> Active Vent -> Room
PressureExternal: Determines the maximum pressure of the Room-Side the Vent allows. Meaning if the rooms pressure reaches the values of the Vent, it stops the flow (Tested it). This is important, because it can lead to overpressure in the pipe before it. On the otherhand is spares us to add a regulator of our own (to protect the room from overpressure). And in addition it seems to have a much higher throughput than the normal "Pressure Regulator".

This value is by default 101.325 (kPa). So if you pressurize rooms near or above this level and the air is not pulled out fast enought out of the room problems are possible. Don't place a volume pump before it than!

I've seen another value "Setting" which is set to 50, maybe like a volume pump 50 l? ... Still to be determined, but if so, the Active Vent not only combines a Vent with a Pressure Regular, it also combines it with a volume pump.

The other scenarios (inverted for letting pressure out) and the other property PressureInternal are still not clear to me or I had not a good test for them.

Interresting, this gives alot more options to use an active vent.
Wonder what other devices have options that only can controlled by logics.

I think the pressureInternal is for the inward mode, when you go Room -> vent -> pipe. This actually allows you to ommit so many pressure regulators! Not tested though, however it seems quite possible.
I am working on a custom airlock for martian atmosphere now so I cannot test it well. Once I do, I will post an update ;)
